Wachau

Since 2012, we import hand-selected wines from three iconic family wineries in Austria's Wachau region — small producers, personal relationships, and uncompromising quality in every bottle.

How we
work

Our principles

We are a family business focused on other family businesses. Since 2012, we proudly collaborate with three wine families from the Wachau. You will never find large brands in our portfolio — only small, dedicated winemakers we know personally, whose vineyards we have visited and whose wines we have tasted together.

01

Small producers only

Family business working with family businesses. No large labels — only small winemakers with individual character and genuine attention to every bottle.

02

Quality guaranteed

We personally know every wine we offer and guarantee its quality. We never sell wine we would not drink ourselves. Every bottle carries our personal endorsement.

03

Personal relationships

We buy wines only from winemakers we know personally. We know exactly where their grapes grow and how they are treated — from vine to bottle.

04

Always at peak

Every wine has its lifespan. The moment a vintage passes its peak, we remove it from our selection. You always receive wine at its best.

05

Careful storage

From the winemaker to your hands, every bottle is stored under conditions that protect and preserve its character — temperature, humidity, light.

Three Wachau
styles

Wine classification

Wachau wines are classified into three distinct categories, each reflecting a different style and expression of the steep, sun-drenched terraced vineyards along both banks of the Danube.

Lightest

Steinfeder

Light, fresh, and graceful. Named after the fine feathergrass growing in Wachau — wines of everyday pleasure, crisp acidity, and delicate aromatics.

Balanced

Federspiel

Medium-bodied and beautifully harmonious. Named after the falconer's lure — these wines offer the perfect balance of freshness, fruit, and mineral depth.

Full-bodied

Smaragd

Rich, complex, built to age. Named after the emerald lizard of Wachau — these wines come from the finest hillside parcels with maximum ripeness and aging potential.

Weingut Gebetsberger

Family winemakers since 1859, now in their fourth generation. Stefan and Manuela Gebetsberger, with their son Stefan, blend 160+ years of tradition with fresh ideas — in the vineyard, in the cellar, and at their Heurigen.

"Vinum bonum deorum donum." — A good wine is a gift from the gods.

Weingut Schneeweis

Florian Schneeweis returned to the family estate in 2009 after exploring the wider wine world. His philosophy: minimal steps, gentle handling, no unnecessary stress. Smaragd wines are filtered and bottled late, ensuring full maturity before release.

"What do I love about winemaking? Everything. Every single detail."
